Summer Fun, Fitness & Fiction Camp Day Camp for Children Entering 1st grade through 5th Grade (Ages 5 to 11) During the summer, our Day Camp hits a whole new level with weekly visits to the North West Recreation Complex to utilize the various facilities that are offered there as well as fields trips, daily reading time, and weekly special events, your child will have the opportunity to experience several varying types of activities throughout this fun-filled summer. Rates will include a movie snack each week, special event, fitness activities, and all field trips except for the large theme park trip on Week 9, Lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided each day weeks 1-8. Due to scheduling, we do not register for partial weeks during the summer. Since rates are inclusive, no field trip refunds will be issued for trips not attended. A camp t-shirt is required for all field trips. Open registration will begin on April 29, 2013. Registration will be ongoing until all spaces have been filled. Camp will not take place on July 4th due to City-wide observance of Independence Day. Summer Camp will begin on Monday, June 10, 2013 and continue through Friday, August 16, 2013. PLEASE NOTE: In order to receive the Multi-Child Discount, Family Application Fee Discount or City of Apopka Employee Discount, you must register in person. These discounts will not be applied to online registrations.
