Get in the mood for an evening of Jazz N’ Romance at the Art and Music in the Park and The Food Truck Bazaar from 6 – 9 p.m. on Friday, February 8 at Lake Concord Park, 95 Triplet Lake Drive (behind Casselberry City Hall). With the park’s beautiful lakefront view and romantic love-inspired songs performed throughout the evening by The Dave Capp Project, Jazz N’ Romance will be the perfect setting for a memorable evening shared with your special someone.
The Dave Capp Project is a local R&B group that performs a combination of old-school and contemporary jazz and blues, including love ballads such as “You Are the Sunshine of My Life,” and “Just the Two of Us.” Since 1993, saxophonist Dave Capp has been performing throughout Central Florida with gigs including Mary Wilson and The Supremes, The Drifters, and opening for Acoustic Alchemy at the House of Blues. He is currently performing in the Blues Brothers show at Universal Studios and in his own band The Dave Capp Project.
Come hungry because no reservations are needed for this al fresco dinner venue and you are invited to choose from more than 14 gourmet food trucks from The Food Truck Bazaar (www.thefoodtruckbazaar). Each food truck offers delicious culinary delights that range from mouth watering flatbread pizzas to scrumptious frosted cupcakes. After dinner, take a romantic stroll around the park as you listen to the live music and visit the many artisan booths displaying a variety of hand-made works of art including jewelry, paintings, photography, ceramics, and more!
