America's Music features documentary film screenings and scholar-led discussions of twentieth-century American popular music. This week's installment features bluegrass and country. Playing live at the library are The Rafter Ringers, a local bluegrass band that has performed at dozens of events and major concerts across Florida. America's Music" has been made possible by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities: Exploring the Human Endeavor.
