Senior citizens, their families and caregivers are invited to participate in Aging Tree’s Fall Wellness Festival from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at its location at 985 Harley Strickland Blvd., in the Kohl’s shopping plaza. Admission is free. The Fall Wellness Festival will host 35 local senior-care-related businesses, which will be sharing information about resources available at their organizations. Festival highlights include:· Free food and drinks· $12 flu shots · Health screenings, including blood pressure checks, hearing tests, balance tests, carotid screening ultrasounds· Free pain relief sessions · Healthy living and health insurance seminars · Giveaways including a lift chair (valued at $1,000), diabetic shoes and more Participating organizations include Alliance Community, Americare Assisted Living, Arcadia Home Care, Bishop’s Glen, Caring Hands Assisted Living, Center for Health Care at The Alliance, Carol Brown – Certified Senior Advisor, Clare Bridge of Ormond Beach, Cinnamon Cleaning, The Cloisters, Dignity Memorial, Elder Assistance of America, Elder Source SHINE, Florida Health Care Plans, Good Samaritan Fl.
