HI. DUE TO NO FAULT OF OUR OWN, OUR NOVEMBER MEMORIAL EVENT WITH THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY HAS BEEN POSTPONED. WE WILL KEEP YOU INFORMED. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!Last year, we lost a very important member of our family, our beloved golden retriever Brandon. As anyone who considers a pet a companion knows, the intense pain that accompanies this loss is unbearable. Unfortunately as most pet often do, we grieved alone, as there was no organized support for pet-parents in our community. But we decided to change that. Inspired by the Lantern Floating Hawai'i Ceremonies, we held our first Canine Memorial in Winter Park, FL.
Our intention was to mirror the ambiance of peace and reverence towards life in general exhibited in their memorials, and use those elements to honor the lives of our special and irreplaceable canine companions. The event, which was held on July 27th, was dedicated to our beloved Brandon. It was a beautiful ceremony that allowed the attendees support one another as they came to terms with the reality of their own loss. Due to the great success of our first event, we are ready to take the show on the road. Come join us and the City of Casseberry on Saturday, November 16th, at the beautiful Lake Concord Park as we hold another collective memorial service to honor our pet companions. Music, guest speakers and vendors, will be followed by a procession of lantern holders that will conclude with the launching of the floating lanterns onto the lake. Before being launched, these special lanterns would have been inscribed with personal messages from pet-parents, family, and friends, to their animal companions. This is a FREE event. However, if you are planning to dedicate a lantern, you should reserve it online as soon as possible as we can't guarantee that the lanterns will not sell out before the event. We'll see you there!Sincerely, Brandon’s loving family* A portion of the proceeds will benefit Pawmosa Dog Park and Pet Rescue by Judy, a non-for profit shelter with a "No Kill" policy.
