Raised in Levittown, Puerto Rico by way of San Diego, California, Dirty D moved to Orlando when he was around the age of 9. Growing up in a Hispanic household, sounds of El Gran Combo and many other Latin Artist ignited Dirty D’s passion for music, but while attending school in the states, artist like MC Hammer, Queen Latifah, Jay-Z and Wu-Tang Clan quickly inspired his love for Hip-Hop.

Curious about radio, Dirty D started as an intern in the promotion department at POWER. Shortly after, he was offered and took a position as a Promotions Assistant. For about 2 years you could catch Dirty D running around the streets of Orlando until one day he got an offer that changed the course of his career. He was asked to cover a Saturday shift, one weekend. The Program Director was so impressed that, she offered him the chance to hold down the Saturday spot. Over the years Dirty D has climbed his way through the ranks. You can now catch him on 4 days a week, holding you down late nights.
