Power 95.3 offers Internship Opportunity in Promotions, On-Air, and Videography/Photography!

Promotions Interns:

Promotions interns will devolop an overall understanding of media and radio, focusing on Marketing and Promotions.  As a promotions assistant, you will take part in the creation, planning, and execution of promotional events.  We hire 10-15 interns a semester - Being outgoing, a team-player, and flexible availability is a plus! 

Videography/Photography Interns:

Video/Photo interns will take part in the shooting and editing of all station events and artist interviews.  We look for well rounded students interested in learning videography/photography techniques used in day-to-day radio operations.  We bring on about 3-4 interns each semester - working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Final Cut is a plus!  

On-Air Interns:

On-Air interns will develop an understanding of how media and radio works from a production stand point.  You will have the opportunity to be an assistant for the Obie and Lil Shawn Morning Show and will learn show production, content curation, and how to operate standard radio equipment.  We look for 1-2 interns each semester - working knowledge in Social Media and Graphic Design is a plus!   

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Participation in the planning and execution of events.
• Working 1-on-1 with listeners and contest winners.
• Updating web and social media relevant and exciting content.
• Assist in researching relevant events and musical preferences of the market.
• Execution of day to day radio station operations.
• General office duties.

Requirements:

• Have a passion for the entertainment industry.
• You must be a college student to receive credit.
• Must work well with others & are able to multitask.
• Must be outgoing and energetic.  
• Must be able to work a minimum 15 hours a week.
• Open and flexible availability is a plus.  
• Video / Photography shooting and editing skills not required but are a plus.
• Blogging / Social Media / Graphic Design skills not required but are a plus.
