MOUNT VERNON, Kentucky —
A 55-year-old Beavercreek man was killed Sunday afternoon in an accident on I-75 near Mount Vernon, Kentucky.
Three semi-tractor-trailers and four cars collided. Keith E. Holbrook was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fifty-five-year Teresa Holbrook of Beavercreek, and a couple from Hamilton, Ohio were taken by medical helicopter to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Those injuries are not life-threatening.
Kentucky State Police believe heavy rain and wet roads were factors in the accident. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected.
I-75 was shut down for several hours during the investigation.
