Orlando, FL —

Casey Anthony might be the last person to legally be allowed to report a missing child a month after their disappearance.

State lawmaker Bill Hager from Boca Raton plans to introduce, Caylee’s Law in the next session. The measure would make it a felony for a parent not to report a missing child in danger in a timely manner.

“The goal of this law is very simple, and that is to provide another arrow for prosecutors,” said Hager.

While he works on that, Oklahoma resident Michelle Crowder wants Congress to add a similar law.

She started a petition on the website change.org, and she tells WDBO people are signing up at 2,000 signatures an hour.  She plans to send that petition to capitol in October.
