SPRINGFIELD, Ohio —
A woman was taken to Miami Valley Hospital early Monday morning after being hit by a train. The accident happened at the crossing near West Main Street and South Shaffer Street.
Police said she and two men were walking along the side of the tracks. The men crossed the tracks before the train came. She lost her footing and was clipped by the train.
The woman, in her thirties, was breathing and alert when she was loaded into the helicoptor.
