Brits may approve new breast cancer test A test that predicts whether breast cancer will return after surgery could soon be routine for women in the UK, according to a published report.
The test, called IHC4, costs a fraction of the only other existing test -- Oncotype DX -- which is available only outside the United States.
Researchers say as many as 8,000 British women might avoid unnecessary chemotherapy after surgery because of the test.
