JWOW & Snooki Find a Home!

The city of Hoboken, New Jersey refused to host Snooki and JWOW's "Jersey Shore"spin-off . . . but that's OK, because the show has found another home.  It'll film in Jersey City.  The local mayor . . . sounding a little desperate . . . said, "My view is the more people that see anything about Jersey City, and see what we have in Jersey, the better it is for Jersey City."  That being said, a city spokeswoman is reminding the cast and crew that they're, "required to follow all the laws of the State of New Jersey and the City of Jersey City, and to show respect for their neighbors.  Of course, it's wishful thinking to assume they'll follow those rules on their own.  So according to TMZ, Jersey City officials have assigned FOUR cops to be stationed at Snooki and JWoww's home at ALL TIMES . . . and they'll follow the cast and crew every time they go out.  The cops will hang back a little, so they don't get in the way of the production.  The producers had to agree to this in order to get permission to film in the city.  It's unclear who's paying for this. TMZ's report says if additional cops need to be called in "due to events related to the show," the producers must reimburse the city. But there's no mention of who's covering the original four officers.  Production will begin later this month.  There's no title or premiere date yet.
