Sugar Ray Leonard, Molested!

Former boxing champ Sugar Ray Leonard says in his new autobiography that he was sexually abused as a teenager by a, quote, "prominent" Olympic coach.

In the book "The Big Fight:  My Life In and Out of the Ring", Leonard says the same guy assaulted him twice.

The first time, Leonard was only 15 and competing in a tournament in Utica, New York.

The second instance occurred several years later in a car in a deserted parking lot.  Leonard says he and the coach were discussing his prospects for the 1976 Olympics in Montreal.

He writes, quote, "Before I knew it, he had unzipped my pants and put his hand, then mouth, on an area that has haunted me for life.  I didn't scream.  I didn't look at him.  I just opened the door and ran."

Leonard went on to win the GOLD in the light welterweight division at those games.

Leonard, who's 55 now, says he felt he would, quote, "never be free" unless he told this story.  The book comes out next month.
