Toni Braxton Admitted to Hospital Toni Braxton was admitted to the hospital in Los Angeles for blood clots and lupus. Her rep said her doctors expect her to "do just fine" and recover completely.
She's been battling Lupus for years now and says it is really diminishing her health and ability to perform. Lupus is an autoimmune disease where her immune system attacks normal, healthy tissue. This results in symptoms such as inflammation, swelling, and damage to joints, skin, kidneys, blood, the heart, and lungs.
She tweeted, "I will be out any day now."
She's 45.
