Fat Joe Faces Two Years in Prison Fat Joe has pleaded guilty to tax evasion, and could be sentenced to up to two years in prison. That won't be decided until his court date in April.
He reportedly owes the IRS more than $718,000 in back taxes from 2007 and 2008.
In court yesterday, the judge asked him if he understood the charges against him, and he replied, "I super-understand it." He hopes to be able to square things up with the IRS before that April court date.
