What It Was with Celebrity Babies in 2012!

We welcomed Beyonce and Jay Z's daughter, Blue Ivy January 7th.  We were all dying for that photo, but unfortunately it wasn't released until six months later when Bey posted them on her Tumblr account.  What's interesting is when she was born, there was a frenzy over the name.  Everyone was searching her name, entrepreneurs wanted to use it on promotional items and the couple decided to put a stop to it.  They tried to trademark the name so that no one could do that, but as of now it's all still up in the air.  Menas we can put "Blu Ivy" on a perfume bottle?  T-Shirts?  $$$

Adele had her baby boy October 21^st.  Congrats, girlie!!  She was very secretive about the pregnancy only tweeting “I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together."  She didn’t release the name or a pic of her son, either!  Another rumor popped up that she and her boyfreind had secretly gotten married.  She shot down those rumors tweeting  on august 30^th, “I'm not married..zzzz…”

Most recently adele got fined for not registering her son.  British law says the baby has to be registered with the government within 42 dyas of birth.  It has been 51 days since she gave birth to him.  She was fined $1,600 for the mistake.

Another celeb baby we welcomed in 2012 was Jessica Simpson's daughter!  She gave birth to  Maxwell Drew Johnson in May.  Her first child with former NFL player, Eric Johnson.  And now we hear they’re expecting another!!

How could we forget the cute baby Simpson's ex hubby, Nick Lachey had with his wife, Vanessa.  They welcomed their son Camden onSeptember 12th.  Their first child together.
