What it was with Kate Middleton and Prince WIlliam:
They shared great news with the world - they're expecting their first child! But the good news was quickly overshadowed when Kate was rushed to the hospital for severe morning sickness. Think things couldn't get any worse?? Oh, they did... A nurse at Kate Middleton's hospital was pranked by two Australian DJs who pretended to be queen Elizabeth and prince Charles.
Days after the nurse let the call through and the prank went viral, she was found dead in her home. Police say it was suicide. She wrote a letter to her husband and two teenage children, although the contents of the letter have not been disclosed. Suspicion is she committed suicide because of not only the embarrassment caused by the prank, but because of the fear that she was going to be fired from her job at the hospital. The DJs are off the air until further notice . . . a decision they made along with their radio station.
The palace heard about the tragedy and issued a statement saying Kate and Prince William were, "deeply saddened" by Jacintha's death.
The station issued a statement saying that the djs are, "deeply shocked" about what happened.”
