Simon Cowell Latest Victim of Swatting Police showed up at Simon Cowell's house for a "Swatting" hoax. This is a new prank trend where someone calls 911 claiming a celeb's house is being burglarized.
Somebody called 911 Sunday afternoon and said an unidentified person was bound with duct tape and being held in the bathroom of Simon's Beverly Hills mansion.
Police showed up, but it wasn't true. Similar hoaxes this year have targeted Miley Cyrus and Ashton Kutcher.
