NFL Referees are BACK!  Happy about it?  Absolutely!  They've been on strike since June pending notiations with the Ref union concerning thier slary, pension and retirement benefits.  With their absence, the NFL hired "replacement refs."  They have been botching up calls left and right.

The last straw was the missed call that cost Greenbay Packers a win.  With the increasing ridicule and anger from fans, the NFL had to make a decision.   The agreement hinged on working out salary, pension and retirement benefits for the officials, who are part-time employees of the league.  Tentatively, it calls for their salaries to increase from $149,000 a year in 2011 to $173,000 in 2013, rising to $205,000 by 2019.  That's a whole lot of money!!

So we'll see the REAL REFS tonight for the Browns Raven game in Baltimore.
