Lance Armstrong taped his interview with Oprah Winfrey yesterday, and sources say he DID admit to using performance-enhancing drugs to help him win his seven Tour de France titles. The interview took place at a hotel in Austin, Texas.
After it was over, Oprah Tweeted, "Just wrapped with @lancearmstrong. More than 2 1/2 hours. He came READY!" Oprah will appear today on "CBS This Morning" to discuss the interview.
It airs Thursday night on OWN. On his way to the interview, Armstrong reportedly stopped by the headquarters of the Livestrong Foundation to apologize to staffers.
He did NOT admit any drug use to them, but he apologized for putting the charity at risk. He also said he would work to restore its reputation.
