Jamie Foxx Ignores Father After being given away as a child, Jamie Foxx wants nothing to do with his father.
Jamie’s 74-year-old biological father is said to be devastated because Jamie has repeatedly refused to patch things up.
They've called Jamie several times over the years and left hundreds of messages.
Jamie’s parents, Darrell Bishop and Louise Annette Talley, were very young when he was born so they gave him up for adoption.
Jamie once told an interviewer, “I still ask myself why they didn’t want me. Maybe they weren’t ready to raise a child. Was it too inconvenient? I lived just up the street from them. I’ll never understand it.”
“His father is going to get worse,” Jamie’s stepfather said, “and Jamie doesn’t care.”
