What It Is: Russel Brand recently left for a trip to Australia and before he did, he gave his friends a whole bunch of money so they could hand it out to the homeless in L.A. over the holidays.
Who knew Russell was such a sweet guy??  Sources say Russell didn't want them to be left high and dry overnight so he asked his friends to make sure these guys are OK while he's away.
They have been taking them food and making sure they've got warm clothing and a few dollars in their pocket until he gets back.
The source adds that Russell usually spends around $2,000 a month, "just helping people out."  How awesome is that!

What It Is: Miley Cyrus' fiance, Liam Hemsworth was filmed throwing down with a guy outside a bar in Philadelphia early Sunday morning.  The footage hit the web yesterday.
When the footage starts, the guy is on the ground trying to hold onto the legs of Liam and a friend.  So Liam clocks him, and he and his friend push him off.  And that's the end of it. We don't know what led up to that.

What It Is: L.A. REID has announced that he will not be returning to X Factor.  He wants to get back to his other job, as the chairman and CEO of Epic Records.
He says, "I have a company to run that I've kind of neglected and it saddens me a little bit, but only a little bit . . . it was a nice break, it was a nice departure from what I've done for the past 20 years, but now I gotta go back to work."
He adds, "I'm not ruling out ever coming back, but I'm definitely not coming back next

What It Is: Jennifer Lopez has a production company called NuYorican which produces the show, "Big Easy Justice".  It's about a bounty hunter named Tat-2.  In an episode he hunts down a 19-year-old man who he now claims he was wrongly accused and the episode ruined his reputation.  The episode aired back in April.check out the full story here: Full Story
