What You Missed on the Show 7/30

The cast of "Modern Family" has dropped their lawsuit and is back to work after settling their contract dispute. The "Hollywood Reporter" says that five of the adult stars: Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet andSofia Vergara will receive $175,000 per episode for the upcoming fourth season. That's roughly $4.2 million each for a standard 24-episode season.  They'll also get a small cut of the show's profits, although it's unclear how much that is. Their salaries will increase to around $350,000 an episode by the show's eighth season.  That's about $8.4 million for the season. Ed O'Neill had a higher pay scale than the other adult stars because he was the biggest "name" coming into the show.  But the new deal brings his salary "in line" with the rest of the cast.  However, he's getting a bigger cut of the show's profits. The cast made between $60,000 and $105,000 per episode LAST season.  In exchange for the bump, the cast extended their deals for another year.  Before the agreement, the cast was locked in through seven seasons.  Now, they're in for eight.

Chris Brown and Paris Hilton partied together in France last week, and now Paris has her sights set on him.  But Paris has figured out how to get around all that.
A source says, "Paris thinks Chris Brown is hot and really wants to hook up with him.  She likes bad boys, and he is bad to the bone. "Paris has been pretending to be Karrueche's BFF and Karrueche is loving the attention . . . She knows how to use and manipulate other people to get what she wants." Supposedly, Paris doesn't want a relationship, since it would be bad PR for her.  She's more interested in, quote, "a steamy hook-up or two behind closed doors." Paris posted some pictures of her and Chris partying in France on her website.  You can find them here.
