What It Is:  Floyd Mayweather turned himself in Friday in Las Vegas to start serving a 90-day jail sentence for assaulting his baby-mama in front of their kids back in 2010. Technically, he only has to serve 87 days.  He was given credit for three days he already served.  He has also already completed 45 hours of community service, and 21 of 54 domestic violence classes, which the judge gave him props for.  Floyd was supposed to start serving back in January, but a judge postponed the sentence so Floyd could fight Miguel Cotto last month.  The fight generated $94 million in pay-per-view sales.

What It Is:  The MTV Movie Awards went down last night.  And everything you need to know about the show can be summed up in about three minutes.  Here we go Russell Brand's monologue and his humor throughout the show was pretty predictable and not terribly funny.  He Charlie Sheen and his failed marriage to Katy Perry, among other things.  video.

Johnny Depp received the "Generation Award" from Steve Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith.  Johnny did two songs with the Keys.  Check 'em out here and here.

Roberto Pattinson wasn't there, so Kristen Stewart  had to accept their award for Best Kiss by herself.  She tried to get Taylor Lautner,Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron to jump up onstage and take Rob's place, but no one bit.

What It Is: Andy Samberg  has announced that he IS leaving "Saturday Night Live"  just days after saying that "nothing has been decided."  He said, "It's an incredibly emotional and strange moment in my life.  Obviously it's not a huge shock, but I did officially decide not to come back it was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made."  Andy's departure has been rumored for months, and he seemed to confirm that he had one foot out the door in "Lazy Sunday 2" on the season finale.  He rapped, "On these New York streets I hone my fake rap penmanship / That's how it began, and that's how I'm-a finish it."  Here's video.  The original "Lazy Sunday" put Andy on the map during his first season in 2005.

What It Is:"Snow White and the Huntsman" finished #1 at the box office this weekend, posting a surprising $56.3 million in ticket sales.  That's nearly double what "Men in Black 3" made in 2nd place, in its second week.  Meanwhile "The Avengers" added another $20.3 million to its record-breaking total.  It just surpassed "The Dark Knight" as the #3 movie on the All-Time Earnings list.  At $553 million, "The Avengers" is now about $100 million behind the #2 movie, "Titanic". What It Is: Diddy's son Justin Combs is responding to the controversy over his UCLA football scholarship. He Tweeted, "Regardless what the circumstances are, I put that work in!!!!  PERIOD.  "Regardless of what you do in life every1 is gonna have their own opinion.  Stay focused, keep that tunnel vision & never 4get why u started." Meanwhile, his MOTHER Tweeted,  "My Son is his own man.  He will earn his own way through life."
