What It Is: An Esquire interviewer asked Rihanna about recording remixes with Chris Brown, saying it might send the wrong message that she had, "gone back to someone who put you in the hospital."   Not surprisingly, that set her off.  She said, "Oh really?  Did I?  Did I?  Did I?  Did I?" She added, "If I went back to him [as a girlfriend], then that's a whole different discussion.  I think a lot of people jumped to an assumption that was incorrect and they ended up looking stupid." But the interviewer kept going, saying it might be hard for the public to separate a professional reconciliation from a personal one.  Rihanna said, "This is turning into a tacky interview.  What do you really want to talk about?  I'm not here to talk about messy crap.  "It upsets me that you keep asking the same kind of questions about stuff that's trivial.  What's there to talk about?  Are all your questions like that?" You can read the full interview here.

What It Is: Kanye West  went off on a fan at a recent concert in Paris, after the guy flashed some sort of laser pointer onstage.  Kanye stopped the show and said,  "You see this guy right here with the green laser?  Don't [eff] up everybody's show . . . it's not [an effing] game!"  He also seemed to THREATEN the dude . . . saying, "You gonna get [effed] up, kicked out, and all that [crap].  Chill the [eff] out."  After that, the show went on as if nothing had happened.  It's unclear whether or not the fan was booted.  TMZ has video.  NOTE:  The profanity is BLEEPED, but there's so much of it that it's hard to hear anything else.

What It Is: Nicki Minaj says she plans on performing a FREE show in New York City to make up for dropping out of the Hot 97 Summer Jam at the last minute.  (She was upset about being dissed by the show's emcee, Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg.)  There's no date for the free show yet.  Nicki later called in to Hot 97 to air some things out, and talked to DJ Funkmaster Flex, who took Rosenberg's side.  You can find someUNCENSORED, low-quality audio and a partial transcript at HuffingtonPost.com.

What It Is:  I don't know how true this is, but it's an interesting concept:  The "National Enquirer" says Jonah Hill is gaining weight again on purpose . . . because he's afraid nobody will think he's funny as a skinny guy.  A source says, "Jonah's scared to death audiences will turn away from him if he gets thin . . . He believes Hollywood might not find him funny if he isn't fat.  So he decided, 'Screw it, I'll be who I am.' "Now Jonah figures he'll eat whatever he wants and live the life that makes him happy."

What It Is: A group called the Little People of America is upset with the makers of "Snow White and the Huntsman" for using average-sized actors to play the dwarfs. Those actors include Ian McShane from "Deadwood", Nick Frost from "Shaun of the Dead" and Bob Hoskins from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".  They were shrunk with the help of digital technology.  A representative from the group says Hollywood needs to start casting little people more frequently . . .  "This means both casting people with dwarfism as characters that were specifically written to be played by little people . . . and other roles that would be open to people of short stature.
