What It Is: Wide Receiver Chad Ochocinco has been CUT from the Patriots! According to reports, the Patriots spent the day trying to trade Ocho, but failed!  This left the the Pats with only one thing to do... just get rid of him!!! So, Chad is officially fired.    He tweeted, " Thoroughly enjoyed the oppurtunity to play for the ‘Patriot’ organization... fans were ... wicked awesome, I wish all of you the best.”  Meanwhile, his fiancee Evelyn Lozada, who is on Basketball Wives tweeted, "Aww baby, you got cut.  I got your back!  I'm the bread winner now, which means I make the rules."

What It Is:  On Wednesday night, Charlie Sheen hit the Staples Center in Los Angeles to watch Game 4 of the Stanley Cup finals between the L.A. Kings and the New Jersey Devils.   But when it was time to light up, Charlie went outside the building and that's where the trouble began.  You see, once you leave the Staples Center, you can't go back in.  There are designated smoking areas INSIDE so people don't run into that problem.  But apparently Charlie didn't know that.  Because when he tried to go back in, a female security guard wouldn't let him.  And he got mad.  And of course, it was all caught on video by the paparazzi.  Charlie didn't seem to be under the influence of anything except ANGER.  He got into a heated back-and-forth with the woman, in which he dropped a few F-bombs and suggested that she perform a certain act on his genitalia.  But she held her own.  As he was getting ready to leave, Charlie told the photographer, "Have common sense and common courtesy gone in society?  That was what I was trying to impress upon her."

What It Is: Chris Rock took a few shots at Chris Brown on the "Today" show yesterday.  Here's how it went down.  Rock was a guest on the show, and Matt Lauer was hyping the fact that Brown was going to be performing outside "on the plaza" on TODAY'S show.  He said, quote, "We're hoping the same kind of weather hits us tomorrow when we've got Chris Brown out on the plaza live for a big concert."   And Rock said, quote, "Did you say you hope the same weather HITS ya?"   Then he added, quote, "Maybe you should watch your words . . . I hope the weather doesn't smack us upside the head."  Then Elmo . . . who was also a guest on the show . . . said, quote, "Elmo will make it wholesome."  Check out video here.

What It Is: Robert Pattinson says he got into a weird argument with Adele after he advised her to reach for her goals even though she'd already pretty much surpassed them.  He says, "I had this argument with Adele, which is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever said.   "I was saying, 'You know, you can really just like reach for it,' and she was like, 'You do realize I am like the biggest-selling female artist ever?'  And I just for some reason just decided to get into an argument with her.  "I woke up regretting everything I said."

What It Is:  "American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips underwent kidney surgery on Wednesday FINALLY  after months of talk about how desperately he needed it.  The procedure took six-and-a-half hours . . . and they were able to successfully remove several kidney stones that were too large to pass. Phillip's rep says, "The surgery went well.  He's resting."  He has been suffering from chronic kidney problems for a while, and had EIGHT operations during his "Idol" run.  But those were just to hold him over until he could have this more extensive surgery after the season was over.  He's expected to be fine for the Idols Live Tour, which kicks off July 6th in Detroit.
