What It Is:  Skechers shoe company used Kim Kardashian to try to convince people to buy Shape Ups, but they don't actually work.  At least that's what the federal government is saying.  The Federal Trade Commission has determined Skechers lied about clinical studies which the company said proved the sneakers help people lose weight and strengthen muscles in the glutes, legs and stomach.  In fact, Skechers has agreed to pay $40 million in settlement costs.  And anyone who bought the shoes will be eligible for a refund.

What It Is:   E! Online is reporting that Jennifer Lopez will NOT return for a third season of "American Idol".  A source says she's too busy and the next round of "Idol" auditions will begin while she's on tour overseas.  Plus she wants to free up time to be with her kids.  Meanwhile, "Idol" producer Nigel Lythgoe says, "We want her back.  I want her back.  It's a business.  She has to weigh everything.  I know she's gotten lots of offers to do movies and other things."

What It Is:  The website cubbytees.com is selling shirts that Tim Tebow claims is using his likeness to sell.  His attorneys sent a cease and desist letter last month in which they claim "The Merchandise makes it appear as if Mr. Tebow actually endorses Cubby Tees and its products."  But the tee shirts in question do not use Tebow's image or name, instead spell out "MY Jesus" using the colors and font of his new team, the NY Jets.  In fact, the website clearly states, "This fun design is not officially endorsed by New York's backup quarterback or the Son of God, but plays off the themes of Tebow's faith and his new team."  Still, Tebow's attorneys are demanding the site stop "any use of Mr. Tebow's name and/or likeness".  The shirt makers tell TMZ they aren't backing down, and actually sent a response to team Tebow saying the design "shares nothing with Mr. Tebow except for promotion of a common Lord and Savior."  The shirts are still for sale.

What It Is: Beyonce without makeup?  Still pretty hot.  Check it out here

What It Is: Kate Moss has some nasty-looking feet.  You can see them here.

What It Is:  Jennifer Lopez tops this year's Forbes Celebrity 100 List.  That's the magazine's annual list of the top stars, based on their income, visibility, social media presence and other factors.  J-Lo earned $52 million over the past year, but it's more than that.  She's all over the place, especially thanks to"American Idol"

Oprah  finished second, even though her income over the past year was $165 million . . . more than triple J-Lo's.

Justin Bieber finished third, with an income of $55 million and a face that's been pretty hard to avoid.  Here's the rest of the Top 10 . . .

#4.)  Rihanna

#5.)  Lady Gaga

#6.)  Britney Spears

#7.)  Kim Kardashian

#8.)  Katy Perry

#9.)  Tom Cruise

#10.)  Steven Spielberg

Check out the entire list in annoyingly slow slideshow format at Forbes.com.
