What It Is: Alicia Keys has joined Blackberry as the Global Creative Director.  She will work closely with app developers, content creators, retailers, carriers and the entertainment community to help promote Blackberry and make it the brand it once was!
“Staying connected has become a vital part of my creative process,” said Keys.  “I have been using the BlackBerry 10 for a few weeks now, and I’m truly inspired by its innovation.  It has entirely revolutionised the experience.  I know the potential this platform has to help creative people be more productive, and help productive people be more creative.  This is such an incredible age to be living in, with such profound advances in communications and technology.  As Global Creative Director, my goal is to inspire creativity with this platform, and I’m so excited to jump right in.”
Good luck, Alicia!

What It Is: Ricki Lake's first talk show lasted 11 years, but her new one will only last ONE.
"The Ricki Lake Show", which premiered in September, will NOT get a second season . . . but new episodes will continue to run through this coming September.
“We would like to thank Ricki Lake as well as Executive Producer Gail Steinberg and the entire staff for their work this season," Stephen Brown, executive vice president of programming and development for Twentieth Television, said in a statement. "While we are proud of the topics the program tackled, including childhood obesity, life after the military, divorce, and addiction, we were simply not able to break through the crowded talk show marketplace.”

Here's an old video of Robin and Zelda talking about how she was named after "The Legend of Zelda" video games.
