What It Is: It's called "Kris", and it'll begin airing this summer . . . The show sounds like your typical daytime talk show, with "celebrity interviews, fashion and beauty segments, as well as other lifestyle segments." Naturally, your first question is probably: WHY? The production company says, quote, "Whether offering real advice to her family or sharing personal moments with viewers, Kris is honest, compelling, entertaining, and unscripted . . . all excellent qualities for a daytime talk show host." And in a statement, Kris says, quote, "This is something I have wanted to do all my life, so it's definitely a dream come true! I can't wait for this new adventure to begin."
What It Is: Rick Ross is still living the hardcore street life. He crashed his Rolls-Royce into a building in Fort Lauderdale, yesterday morning, but he had a decent excuse: He was manically trying to escape being MURDERED. Police say Rick was driving with a woman . . . when another vehicle pulled up alongside them and OPENED FIRE. According to local reports, "dozens of shots" were fired . . . but amazingly, none of them hit Rick's car. The suspects fled, and Rick crashed the car while trying to speed away. No one was injured in all this madness. Meanwhile, 50 CENT believes this was a SET-UP. He Tweeted, quote, "Hahaha fat boy hit the building? LOL. It looks staged to me. No holes in da car." Or maybe not? Fiddy added, quote, "Hahaha that boy was spooked.
What It Is: Frank may have called Rihanna? A so-called "insider" says Chris knocked Frank unconscious with a series of blows to the head, and Frank's friends had to carry him [inside], where they called the cops. The spokesperson added that Frank has indicated that he wants to press charges against Chris. This could put Chris in some SERIOUS hot water, because he's still on probation for beating up Rihanna back in 2009. Yesterday, Frank Tweeted, "Got jumped by Chris and a couple guys. LOL . . . Cut my finger now I can't play with two hands at the Grammys." Meanwhile, the brawl left Chris feeling . . . like CHRIST ON THE CROSS. On Instagram he posted a painting of Jesus being CRUCIFIED with the caption, quote, "Painting the way I feel today. Focus on what matters!"
What It Is: Just hours after actor Taye Diggs left the SAG awards, he tackled a burglar at his home. Diggs, who plays a doctor on ABC's "Private Practice" returned to his Studio City home to find a man in his garage "looking for items to steal." The burglar ran from the home, but Diggs caught up with him down the street and tackled him. Diggs detained the man until officers arrived. Suspect Hassan Juma, 20, was jailed and charged with burglary.
