For instance, she's making them ship her daughter's bed from New York to Louisiana, where it is to be placed in a nursery that's kept at a constant 78 degrees and decorated with rose-scented candles. A rep for the NFL calls this report, quote, "pure pulp fiction."

What It Is: Rick Ross just hired 24-hour ARMED personal security to watch his back after Monday's drive-by shooting in Florida when a car pulled up next to his Rolls-Royce and opened fire.  Ross lost control of the vehicle during the incident and crashed into an apartment building.  We're told Ross considers the shooting to be an "eye-opener" and will do whatever it takes to keep himself safe.

What It Is: Whitney Houston's brother Michael says he feels guilty for Whitney's death -- but says he didn't realize how deadly drugs could be when he first brought them to Whitney's doorstep ... explaining, "You gotta understand at the time ... the '80s ... it was acceptable." Houston adds, "It's painful ... I feel responsible for what I let go so far."
