What It Is:  After the resignation of Pope Benedict the 16^th. . . we have chosen a new one! Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio has been elected the new Pope. He has chosen the papal name Pope Francis.

What It Is:  Lakers may lose a MAJOR superstar for the rest of the season! Kobe Bryant was attempting a game-winning shot against the Atlanta Hawks, but this one did NOT go in. And after shooting the ball, he twisted his left ankle. Looks like it's a "severe ankle sprain." No foul was called on the play, and Kobe wasn't happy about that. He said, quote, "First and foremost, the officials really need to protect shooters. You just can't go into shooters. That's a dangerous play." The Lakers say Kobe is out "indefinitely" . . . but Kobe hasn't ruled out playing tomorrow night against the Indiana Pacers. He left the arena with a limp, but he didn't need crutches.

Justin Bieber's mom, Pattie Mallette is a huge fan of the show "The Bachelor" and apparently she wants to be a bit more involved in the reality show. She is suggesting that she might be the next bachelorette!! That’s of course after . . . Desiree Hartsock. . . "The Bachelorette" season nine ends. It will begin airing on ABC on Monday, May 20 at 9 p.m. EST.

What It Is:  Back in the summer of 2011, a U.S. Marine made a YouTube video asking Mila Kunis to attend his Marine Corps Ball with him. It started quite the trend that died down, but could it be making a come back? A college senior has asked Mila to attend this year's cotillion at Hollins University in Roanoke Virginia. Oh, and did I mention it's lesbian student? Rock on with your bad self!!  Her name is Kristen, and she's sitting on a big rock with the words "Mila, Cotillion?" spray-painted on it.  She also has a few bottles of Blue Moon beer with her, and offers to bring some for the date.
