Google knows pretty much everything about you, so it makes a lot of sense that “what you’re wearing for Halloween” is part of that.
Google analyzed searches for Halloween costumes and found the top 500 things that people are planning to dress up as this year. We don’t have the airtime to go through all 500, so here’s the top 10 . . .
6. Harley Quinn.
You didn’t win the Mega Millions on Friday. No one did. So now we all have another chance to drop a bunch of cash on the tiny, tiny chance that we’ll get to be Oprah rich.
Tomorrow night’s Mega Millions jackpot is up to $1.6 BILLION. That’s the biggest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.
And it makes the Powerball jackpot look weak, even though that’s going to be $620 million on Wednesday.
No one has won the Mega Millions jackpot since a group of coworkers from California hit it back on July 24th. No one’s won the Powerball since August 11th.
And, of course, it’s our duty to remind you the odds of winning the Mega Millions are one in 302.6 million.
“The Conners” did okay in the ratings on Tuesday night. It averaged 10.6 million viewers, although that number might climb a bit once DVR and delayed viewing are factored in.
Some might say that it’s down because Roseanne Barr isn’t on the show anymore, but it’s hard to make a direct correlation . . . because last season, it was coming back after being off the air for 21 years.
And this season, it was coming back after being off the air for five months.
The big question is, now that the hype / curiosity factor is gone, where will the ratings settle in? And whatever that number is, it’ll be hard to say whether or not it would’ve been better off WITH or WITHOUT Roseanne.
“Orange Is the New Black”was one of Netflix’s FIRST success stories, but it’s coming to an end. Yesterday, it was announced that the upcoming seventh season will be the last.
The show has been nominated for 19 Emmys, and has won four. It has also been nominated for six Golden Globes, but it didn’t win any of them.
There’s no release date for the final season yet, but it’ll probably be sometime in June or July of next year. It’s also too early to say when the show will inevitably be rebooted.
Here’s video of the cast announcing the last season.Orange Is the New… @OITNB Warning: This may make you cry. The Final Season, 2019. # OITNB 5:00 PM – Oct 17, 2018 67.3K 32.3K people are talking about this Twitter Ads info and privacy
There’s a company called Digital Domain that celebrities are going to when they want their likenesses preserved digitally. They’ll scan a face from every conceivable angle, so it can be recreated in the future.
They can also scan signature hairstyles, wardrobes, and props.
The “Star Wars” people are hip to this . . . especially since Carrie Fisher’s death messed with their plans. One of their visual effects guys recently revealed that they’re scanning all their leads now . . . just in case.
So basically, celebrities never have to stop working . . . even when they’re DEAD.
Cardi Bis working on new music, but her team is conflicted over how she should handle her feud with Nicki Minaj
Some of Cardi’s new tracks hit Nicki pretty hard, but some of her people think she should ditch that stuff. Not because it’s too mean, but because Cardi has already surpassed Nicki, and bringing her up just gives her publicity.
Not surprisingly, Cardi is among those who want to keep it . . . because that’s just how she rolls.
Things have been relatively quiet between them since the shoe-throwing incident last month.
A video Kylie recently posted on Instagram has people wondering. It’s just a brief clip of some flowers Travis sent her, but the caption says, quote, “Just because flowers are the best kind. Thank u hubby.”
Someone mentioned in the comments that Travis has been known to refer to Kylie as “wifey”, too. Obviously, these could just be nicknames. We won’t know for sure until one of them comments.
Married or not, they do already have a child together. Their daughter Stormi was born on February 1st.

Don’t count Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson out just yet. Various reports indicate that they haven’t exactly made a clean break.
Sources say Mac Miller’s death hit Ariana hard, and made her realize she and Pete were moving too fast. So they’re slowing things down, including calling off the engagement.
But they’ll still hang out together. In fact, just this past Saturday, they were making out backstage at “Saturday Night Live”.
Kim and Kanye were in Uganda yesterday . . . and they met with President Museveni.
A “source” said Kim told the President she couldn’t stay long, because she had to get back to work. Then, the President ASKED HER WHAT HER JOB WAS.
Kim said she had a TV show with her family, and they were waiting for her to get back.
By the way, Museveni gave Kim and Kanye UGANDAN NAMES . . . Kanye is ‘Kanyesigye,’ which means ‘I trust,’ and Kim got ‘Kemigisha,’ which means, ‘The one with blessings from God.’
So who saw this coming . . . besides EVERYONE ON EARTH, I mean: Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have broken up. A so-called “source” says, “It was way too much too soon. It’s not shocking to anyone.”
They started dating in May, just a few weeks after Ariana split from rapper Mac Miller. Within months they were engaged, living together, getting matching tattoos, and being super annoying. But Mac Miller’s death last month hit Ariana pretty hard.
There’s no word yet who keeps the $100,000 engagement ring, or who gets custody of Piggy Smalls.
Not surprisingly, “Saturday Night Live” opened with their take on Kanye West’s Oval Office ramblings.
But the highlight of the show was probably the Bill Cosby prison skit.
Sources say the entire Kardashian family is “at the end of their ropes” with Kanye . . . and even Kim is, “very uncomfortable and unhappy with the whole situation.” ( Cosmopolitan)
And here’s Kanye’s latest . . . a nine-minute Twitter rant about mind control. Kanye mentions in the video that he’s in Africa. He apparently rented out a safari lodge to continue working on his new album.
It sucks that Amy Winehouse is gone. She had a LOT more to give. But can a hologram fill the void? We’re gonna find out next year. Hologram Amy is going on a world tour in 2019.
Hologram Amy will sing digitally-remastered arrangements of her songs, backed by a live band and backup singers.
Kanye West and NFL legend Jim Brown had their lunch date with President Trump yesterday. Before they ate, they had a little pow wow for the media in the Oval Office.
And yes, Kanye rambled. A lot.
He made the most sense talking about prison reform, and bringing jobs back to America. But of course, he didn’t stop there.
He praised his Make America Great Again hat, saying, “When I put this hat on, it made me feel like Superman. You made a superman cape for me.”
He asked liberals to stop insulting Trump because, “If he don’t look good, we don’t look good.”
He said we have to reform education because school is boring. He suggested letting kids play basketball while they’re learning math.
He said that when his liberal friends tell him Trump is racist, he replies, “You think racism can control me? Oh that don’t stop me, that’s an invisible wall.”
He talked about his very high IQ, and how he was never bipolar . . . he was just sleep-deprived.CBS Evening News @CBSEveningNews Kanye West is discussing a variety of topics with Pres. Trump in the Oval Office, including, but not limited to: American manufacturing, mental health awareness, a bipolar disorder diagnosis that another doctor subsequently refuted and a new design for Air Force One. 1:28 PM – Oct 11, 2018 74 120 people are talking about this Twitter Ads info and privacy
Taylor Swift had a big night at the “American Music Awards”. She and her giant snake kicked off the show with a performance of “I Did Something Bad”.
And she became the most-awarded female artist ever by picking up four awards, including Artist of the Year.
After winning that one, she made one of the few political statements of the night. She said, “This award and every single award given out tonight were voted on by the people, and you know what else is voted on by the people:
“The midterm elections on November 6. Get out and vote.”
She didn’t tell anyone WHO to vote for, but we all know who she’s supporting.
Other highlights of the night included Panic! At The Disco doing a pretty decent version of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” . . . XXXTENTACION’s mother accepting his award for Best Soul / R&B Album . . .
It isn’t easy for Cardi B to ignore the cheating rumors involving her husband Offset. In fact, she says quote, “It almost drives me crazy, because I start to believe them.
“I don’t have no proof. I don’t have receipts. But I just got to know my man.”
She adds, quote, “I cannot be feeling insecure, to a point that I would drive my dude away, because these people want that to happen.” ( W Magazine)
An Army medic named Luis Ocampo left his home in Charlotte last month when his National Guard unit got called up to help with Hurricane Florence relief. And while he was gone, someone broke into his house and LOOTED it.
They stole his computer, his gaming systems, and a bunch of other stuff. So one of his friends started a GoFundMe campaign, trying to raise enough money to replace it all.
Their goal was $5,000, and they raised $15,000. But Luis didn’t want to MAKE money off of it. So he told them to stop accepting donations.
He said he couldn’t take advantage of people’s generosity by accepting more than he needed. So he took all the extra money and GAVE IT AWAY.
Some of it went to another soldier who had to move into a hotel after a tree fell on his house during the storm. And he gave the rest to a charity called the Soldiers and Airmen Assistance Fund.

Taylor Swift did a great job of being one of the few celebrities to stay the HELL out of politics. Until last night, when she jumped into the U.S. Senate and House races in Tennessee.
She posted a message on Instagram endorsing the Democrat in the Senate race, former governor Phil Bredesen, over Republican Representative Marsha Blackburn.
She said, “As much as I have in the past and would like to continue voting for women in office, I cannot support Marsha Blackburn . . . her voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me.”
She cited Blackburn’s record on LGBT and women’s issues, saying, “These are not MY Tennessee values.”
She added, “I cannot vote for someone who will not be willing to fight for dignity for ALL Americans, no matter their skin color, gender or who they love.”
She also said she’s supporting Democrat Jim Cooper , in the House race.
Disney won’t be satisfied until it does a live action / CGI remake of every single one of its animated movies. Next up: “Lilo & Stitch”. That’s the 2002 movie about the Hawaiian girl who befriends a weird little alien.
Disney says the producers behind the live action version of “Aladdin” will handle this one. But there’s no cast or timetable yet, so it’ll be a while before it’s out. The “Aladdin” movie hits theaters next May.
