Doja Cat Addresses Allegations of Racism

May 26, 2020 — This was not a great weekend for Doja Cat. The rapper/singer was “canceled” over the weekend after old videos and tweets suggested that she was in chat rooms speaking negatively about her race online. She has been accused of stripping for white supremacists, using racial insensitive languages and host of other things. She posted the following statement to IG.

She then hopped on IG live to explain and break everything down.

Only time will tell if her explanation is enough for people to move on from this, but as we all know, the internet can be pretty unforgiving.
