Coronavirus: 3 women arrested after attacking Chili’s hostess who tried to enforce social distance order

BATON ROUGE, La. — Three women were arrested who were part of a group that attacked a Chili's hostess who was trying to enforce coronavirus orders, police said.

The large group of women arrived Aug. 9 to the restaurant and requested to eat at the same table, WAFB reported.

They attacked hostess Kelsy Wallace, 17, when she told them only six people could sit at a table because of social distancing orders. Video of the attack was widely viewed online.

Wallace was taken to a hospital for treatment. A GoFundMe account was setup for her. It has raised more than $45,000.

Tammy Dabney, 48, was arrested and charged with aggravated second-degree battery, Baton Rouge police said Friday. Erica Dabney, 46, and Rodneka Dabney, 27, were arrested and charged with disturbing the peace and simple battery.
