ANCHORAGE, Alaska — One woman was killed and four people were injured early Saturday after a shooting broke out in downtown Anchorage, Alaska, authorities said.
According to police, officers arrived at the scene around 2:43 a.m. and found two women and three men shot, the Anchorage Daily News reported. The woman was pronounced dead at an area hospital, the newspaper reported.
The other four victims were also taken to an area hospital, KTUU reported. Their conditions are unknown.

“The details of the shooting to include the motive, circumstances, and number of people involved are still under investigation,” Anchorage police said in an alert. “There have been no arrests at this time.”
The shooting is being investigated as a homicide, KTUU reported.
